Bridal capes and wings

A bridal cape is a sheer layer worn over the shoulders and back of a wedding dress, from a light tulle poncho to long, flowing wings. Our capes and wings run from $295 to $1,000, including the scattered-pearl Moondrop poncho, the Jolie pearl wings, the hand-appliquéd lace Jocelyn cape and the beaded Symphony cape.

Bridal Capes & Wings: frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a bridal cape and wings?

A cape or poncho drapes over your shoulders and arms, while bridal wings attach at the shoulders and fall behind you like a long, sheer train, leaving the front of your dress uncovered. We make both, including the Jolie pearl wings and our bridal wings.

Can I wear a cape with any wedding dress?

Most of them. The Moondrop pearl poncho is cut to pair with any dress’s neckline underneath, the Madison gown can be dressed up with a selection of veils and capes, and the Ember is paired best with a simple tulle veil or chiffon wings.

Can I wear a cape with a bridal jumpsuit?

Yes. We suggest pairing the beaded Symphony cape with the Powell jumpsuit, and the Ava jumpsuit comes with a flowing cape with matching lace appliqué. See more reception looks and jumpsuits.

How much does a bridal cape cost?

Our capes and wings range from $295 for the Moondrop pearl poncho to $1,000 for the Ava cape. The Jocelyn lace cape and Jolie pearl wings are $575, and the Symphony cape and our bridal wings are $650.

Can I try on bridal capes before I order?

Yes. Book a free one-hour appointment at our San Francisco showroom at 1301 Castro St to try on 200+ samples in sizes 0–20, or a free 20-minute virtual design consultation from anywhere. We ship worldwide from San Francisco.
