Custom made to measure

Corset wedding dresses

A corset wedding dress has a structured, fitted bodice, often with boning or a bustier shape, that defines the waist and supports the bust. Ours include the Palace with a ruched corset bodice, the Iris with an exposed corset back, the Anya with a semi-sheer 3D floral corset and the Rowan with a built-in corset, all made to your measurements.

From our brides

“I LOVE my dress. It was so comfortable and I felt radiant. Ali my designer helped me with design, fabric selection, and made sure the sketches aligned with my vision. I will treasure my dress forever, even more so as it’s one-of-a-kind.”

Corset Wedding Dresses: frequently asked questions

What is a corset wedding dress?

A corset wedding dress has a close-fitting, structured bodice that shapes the waist and supports the bust, often with boning sewn into the bodice. It can be strapless, have straps or sleeves, and be paired with any skirt shape, from a slim column to a full ball gown.

What does exposed boning mean?

Exposed boning means the structured seams of the corset show through a semi-sheer bodice as a design detail. The Mira, Marina and Grace all have semi-sheer bodices with exposed boning.

Can I wear a corset as a separate top?

Yes. The Briar Corset is made in sleek bridal satin with a defined plunging neckline and a sheer illusion tulle open back, and pairs well with our A-line skirts such as the Ariel Skirt. The Cleo pairs a delicate floral corset with a silky skirt with a slit.

Can you add more support to a dress?

Yes. Based on any existing design we can add support, change the neckline, add removable sleeves and straps, and adjust the train length. Every dress is made in your own measurements and proportions.

How much does a custom corset wedding dress cost?

Lace & Liberty custom gowns range from $1,500 to $5,500, and most brides spend $2,000–$3,500. Customizations to an existing collection design start at $250. Get a personalized number with our price estimate.

How long does it take to make a custom corset wedding dress?

Our standard turnaround is about 6 months from the date you order, including consultations, design finalization, production edits and shipping. Rush options of 18, 12 or 8 weeks ($250, $450 or $600) may be available depending on our production schedule and fabric availability. See timing & rush orders.
