"My husband, Akshay, and I got engaged of August of 2018 and decided we wanted to do a City Hall wedding in early October 2018 when Akshay's family was visiting. With only a month to plan, we scrambled to pull everything together and wedding dress shopping was part of that! I was looking for a traditional white dress, but also wanted something simple and elegant. When I called Lace and Liberty and informed them of my time constraints, they had me come in to try on several options off the rack and helped me think about mixing and matching tops and bottoms. I really appreciated that they let me take home a skirt and top for a week while I worked out how quickly I could get my items altered and make a final decision. My final outfit was a lacy top with the Soho skirt. I loved that these combined different textures into the dress and I feel like I can continue to wear the top for special occasions (i.e. anniversaries)." -Sunita
